Quebec 1967

Fifty years separate 2017 from 1967, the year that marked the opening of Quebec to the world. Those who lived it remember the World's Fair which coincided with the Centennial of Canadian Confederation, and nationalism's ascent.

It is also the year when Nana's international career took shape and the one of her recognition in France. But it is also the year of her pregnancy with her first child and of the power grip in Greece by the Colonels.

It is here in Quebec where Nana began 1967 with her very first solo tour. At the same moment, "Guantanamera" was in first position on the charts. Nanette, a singer from here, also had her own version.

Have a good journey into the past!

Nana chose among these songs:

Ce n’était rien c’était mon cœur
Celui que j’aime (Tora pou pas stin xenitia)
Erini
Et maintenant
Guantanamera
Kapou iparhi i agapi mou
Kathe trello pedi
L’enfant au tambour
La dernière rose de l’été
Le coeur trop tendre
Les enfants qui pleurent
Les parapluies de Cherbourg
Les rubans rouges
Les yeux pour pleurer
Ne me quitte pas
Quand s'allument les étoiles
Quatre soleils
Remets mon cœur à l’endroit
Roses blanches de Corfou
Ses baisers me grisaient
Ta pedia tou Pirea
Telaless
To fengari ine kokkino
To fidaki
Try to remember
Un Canadien errant
Vrexi stin ftoxo gitonia

The Athenians:

Zorba (Instrumental)
La mamma
