On September 14, at age 74, died out one of the most famous journalists and radio and TV hosts in France. Besides being an actor and a film-maker, Jacques Martin was a real music hall star.

In 1967, he performed as a singer entertainer in the first part of Nana’s concert at the Olympia Theatre in Paris. He also hosted several TV programs including "L’école des fans", from 1977 to 1990, where children interpreted the songs of the guest. Nana was a regular guest of that program.

For the last ten years, he had retired from the media life, because of health problems. Everyone recognized his gift for improvisation, humour and his talent to speak with the children. With Jacques Martin's death, Nana just lost another Ally of the French artistic family.
