For the second time, Nana performs at the Laeiszhalle, a century classical theatre renowned for its acoustics. Moreover, the main hall hosts the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra. In the same hall, on May 2, 2012, Nana ended the 50th anniversary tour of the white roses. How can we forget her emotion at the end of the concert when she sang "Auf Wiedersehen", the tears in the eyes, an handkerchief in her hand? Again, after Athens in 2008, she bid farewell without knowing that she would come back. Outside the theatre, many fans were waiting for her. The crowd was such that it looked like a guard of honor. Obviously, some could not resist shaking her hand and talking to her until she reached the bus.

As it has been since the beginning of this tour – with the exception of Athens and London - there is no intermission and Nana wears the same dress all evening, a white one. After "Try to remember", the first title, the sequence is rapid. With "Erotokritos", marked by the sound of the lute, an ancient instrument, we recognize Nana the Greek. This exotic and rhythmic tune leads the spectators to clap their hands to accompany her. She still has her high notes. Moreover, she enjoys taking away the microphone to sing and she embellishes her final notes as is the case for "Plaisir d'amour". The intensity of her interpretation of "Lied der Freiheit" accompanied by timpani rolls earns her a standing ovation. At the very end, Nana surprises us with an unreleased song. It's "Candles" by the Canadian singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright. This moment is appreciated by everyone.

Her daughter Lénou who accompanies her during the whole tour ensures an important part of the program. Dressed with a short grey dress, she performs three songs; a slow, a blues and the wonderful Latin ballad "Alfonsina y el mar" always as moving. It should be added that she speaks perfect German. Lénou also sings in duet with her mother. Each time, we fell all the admiration and the respect that she has for her. At the end of the evening, together, they cover some of the greatest hits like "Guten Morgen, Sonnenschein", "La Provence" and "Weisse Rosen aus Athen" repeated in unison by the audience. Then, a group of fans sing it again with lyrics of circumstances "Liebe Nana aus Athen". Nana does the same using a sheet. Nana is as pleased as the audience who applauds her warmly.

With them, six musicians share the stage. They all wear a gala uniform; black suit with white shirt and bow. Luciano plays piano. Pili, bass. Philippe, saxophon. Freddy, chimes and tam-tams. Yannick, guitar and bouzouki. Thomas, the lute that gives a beautiful color to the songs of all nationalities. In her own way, Nana makes a gift by distributing them a rose and by throwing the other ones in the crowd.

Throughout the evening, flowers and presents are laid on the stage. Before the encores, a delegation of friends sings "I just came to say I love you" to Nana. From that moment and till the end of the concert, the audience stands up. Elke Balzar, her manager, speaks. Jörg Hellwig, the Managing Director of Universal Germany presents her with a prize for her loyalty with the company. Hermjo Klein, her German promotor offers her a frame which declars her as the most successful female artist ever. There is also a two tier birthday cake covered with white roses.
