Several months ago, Nana announced that during one year, she went on a world tour on the occasion of her 80th birthday. It was scheduled to begin in October 2013. But for several reasons, only one show took place. In February 2014, before a series of 25 concerts in Europe and in Canada, it was announced that the tour will continue until 2015. To determine "the" concert that launches it isn't simple. Would it be the first one in Istanbul or those in Paris, her home port? My choice is the one of Barcelona. In 1960, she had her first success outside of Greece through the Mediterranean Song Festival. For this reason, I decided to fly to Spain.

The first concerts were successful. The fans who attented them confirm it: Nana gave a great show and she won a triumph. Moreover, the various comments and documents posted on social networks testify it. Now, the second stage of the tour continues in Canada. In this country, more specifically in Quebec, Nana has shaped her tour life. That is why I choose to cover the concert of Montreal, where her Canadian roots were established from her first visit in 1965.

In July, Nana returns to perform in Greece for the first time since the end of her world tours in 2008. In early autumn, the birthday tour continues in the UK, Ireland, Germany and Austria. This third stage, punctuated by memorable galas in Athens, in London and in Berlin, ends on October 13, 2014 in Hamburg, the evening of her 80th birthday. As soos as the place is chosen, admirers around the world take arrangements to attend that concert. I also confirm my attendance and my wish to write a report about it.
