GENE MACLELLAN (1938-1995) is an English Canadian born in Abitibi. In the 1970s, he became known as a singer-songwriter. One of his greatest hits, "Put your hand in the hand" (Mets ta main dans la main), has been recorded by a hundred artists including Anne Murray, Elvis Presley, Bing Crosby and Nana Mouskouri.

JOHN MANOLESCO (1918-1983) was a famous Rumanian Count renowned for his research in astrology. His works were translated into several languages. During the years he lived in Montreal, his name occupied an important place in the French as much as in the English-speaking medias. He hosted Nana at the time of his TV program in 1969. A few years later, we lost touch with him. We only know that he passed away in 1983, in Cleveland, Ohio.

The political journey of PAULINE MAROIS (1949- ) began in 1981 when she was elected for the Parti Québécois. During her different mandates, she held about fifteen ministries and in 2012, she became the first woman Premier of Quebec. Like all people of her generation, Mrs. Marois has listened to Nana songs. Also, on May 28, 2013, she welcomed her at the National Assembly in order to present her the insignia of the National Order of Quebec. RENÉE MARTEL (1947-2021) started to sing while participating in her father’s performances, the country singer Marcel Martel. In 1964, the young woman did ​​her first solo album and increased her performances in the TV show "Jeunesse d’aujourd’hui". Then she had a serie of hits that made of her one of the most popular singers in Quebec. Little by little, Renée returned to her country roots and covered some songs of Nana which also became hits. After discovering "Un Canadien errant", Nana became interested in our folklore and our poetry. GUY MAUFFETTE (1915-2005) is one of the first authors she read. Poet, writer and creator, he made his beginnings as an actor before turning to the Radio. Employed by CBC from 1936 to 1976, he produced many programs including radio novels. During decades, the passion and the spontaneity of the host, the storyteller and the disc jockey captivated thousands of listeners from coast to coast. And he was a Greece lover.

The MCGARRIGLE Sisters (KATE (1946-2010) and ANNA (1944- )), folk singer-songwriters, were born in the Laurentides. Their Quebecois and Irish ancestry explain their bilingual repertoire. Several of their songs have been covered by great singers like Nana who recorded versions in English, in French, and even in German and in Greek.

WINSTON MCQUADE (1943- ) spent most of his career at CBC, where he hosted his programs. Over the years he has extensively covered Arts and Sports. Moreover he interviewed Nana in his cultural chronicle "Télexarts" in 1984 and in 1986. On his retirement, the graduate in Fine Arts decided to devote himself to painting. He’s also a trainer in communication, a master of ceremonies and sometimes an actor.

After studying Law, CLAUDE MEUNIER (1951- ) begins an artistic career in 1973. Over the years, he is an actor, playwright and especially humorist. Who does not remember the absurd duo Ding et Dong that he formed with Serge Thériault and his TV series "La petite vie"? In 2008, he produced his first movie "Honey I’m in Love". As one of the characters, Pauline, tries to look like Nana to please her husband, he chose four of her songs that match the script.
